Attendees will stop by each booth to sample what each Competitor is servin’ up... And then continue to enjoy UNLIMITED wing samplings, alcohol, Game Area, and live music all night long!

Got a sweet tooth?? Tasty Freeze 2.0, Beach Bums Sweet Treats, and The Shermanator Fried Kitchen will be available for purchase at the event, with 15% of their proceeds going directly to The Children's Hunger Project (independent from the Space Coast Wing Battle ticket and proceeds).

Upon entry all attendees will be given 1 branded token. After tasting each wing, be sure to drop your token off with your favorite Competitor to give them your “People’s Choice” vote.

A panel of qualified judges will announce the 2022 SPACE COAST WING BATTLE CHAMPION based on a blind taste-test.

■ Axe Throwing
After completing a waiver and reviewing the rules with a coach, the axe coach will demonstrate the safe and acceptable ways of throwing an axe. They will then have you throw a few times and if you are not sticking the target, will help you adjust your throwing style to stick the target. There are several different games to play, but the most common during an axe throwing session is the 10-throw match. Each participant alternates throwing their axe at the target accumulating points, with the winner being the highest points scored at the end of the 10 rounds.
■ Bocce Ball
2 or 4 players; played with 8 large balls and 1 smaller target ball called a pallina. Each team has 4 balls made of a different color. To start the game, the pallina is tossed or rolled any distance as long as it crosses the center line of the court and remains within the boundaries of the court. The player who tossed the pallina must roll the first ball trying to get the closest to the pallina. Gameplay continues alternating between teams and their players until all 8 balls are thrown. Balls are rolled or tossed underhand and must remain within the boundaries of the court for scoring. Only one team scores per frame. Points are awarded for each ball that is closer to the pallina than the closest ball of the opposing team. Games are played to 16 points with the winner being the first to get to 16 points.
■ Putter Ball
4 players; rules of Putterball are like a standard game of beer pong — the objective is to make all 6 cups before the opposing team. Teams take turns trying to make cups, with each player hitting one putt per turn and must hit the ball from a maximum of one foot in front of their own cups. Once a cup is made, place a cover over the hole to remove it from play. Once a team has successfully made all 6 cups, the opposing team is given a chance at redemption. For example, Team A is the first
team to make all 6 cups. Each player on Team B will then get one attempt to make as many cups as possible until they miss. If both players on Team B are unable to make all the remaining cups, Team A
wins the game. If Team B can make all the remaining cups, the game will be decided in overtime. Overtime is played as sudden death: the first team to make all three back cups wins the game.

■ Cornhole
2 or 4 players; partners stand at opposite cornhole boards facing each other. Each individual or team has 4 bags to throw. All 8 bags begin at one end and are thrown alternating between teams until all are thrown. Players throw underhand from anywhere behind the front of the cornhole board. Points are scored: 3 points per bag in the hole, 1 point per bag on the playing surface, 0 points any bag touching the ground or touching another bag on the ground. The team with highest score that round adds the difference of the two scores to their game score. Winner is team that reaches 21 or more points.
■ Soft Arrow Hover Ball
Up to 4 players at a time playing as individuals or teams. An exciting and safe way to learn archery techniques by shooting at hovering balls at your targets using soft tipped arrows. Several different games can be played, but the basics are hit a ball, score a point. Winners are the team with the most points at the end of a round or timed event.

Our panel of qualified judges will be crowning the Space Coast Wing Battle CHAMPION.
Scoring will be done through a blind taste test in the following categories and rating scales:
1. Taste (Rating the flavor or sauce used): 1 - 5 Points
2. Quality (Rating how the food was prepared/cooked): 1 - 5 Points
3. Overall (Rating overall opinion of the wing, including presentation, smell, creativity, etc.): 1 - 10 Points
The sum of the 3 scores will give the Competitor their total (out of a possible 20 total points). In the event of a tie, the judges will receive 1 additional wing from the tied Competitors and complete a new scorecard.

Christopher Morales has been an Executive Chef around Brevard County for over 10 years. He has worked in yacht clubs in South Florida and accepted to Michelin restaurants in New York City and Los Angeles. He became a Chef at the age of 20 and has all “on the job training”, without having gone to culinary school. He has been featured in many magazines and news articles, and has received many accolades; most recently, on the Food Network. You can tell that he loves to cook just by looking at his arms full of food tattoos and utensils. He is currently working at The Chef’s Table as the Executive Chef.

SOMEHOW I'M NOT FAT

I was born and raised in Cape Canaveral. I have been a food blogger since 2017. I run the Orlando based Instagram page @somehowimnotfat. The page has over 20,000 followers. I am in the Army and am always trying new foods wherever I travel. I frequently take trips to major metropolitan cities just to eat, to include cities I have to fly to. While I was stationed in Savannah, GA, I was featured in South Magazine, Savannah Magazine, and Visit Savannah. When I am not stuffing my face with food, I compete in bodybuilding, which has taught me how to have a true appreciation for good food. Being disciplined in what I eat and put in my body, it created a discipline in only eating what I truly love, as well.

Jesslyn started as a food Blogger back in 2018. She has been interviewed on several podcasts as well as WKMG News Channel 6. Jessyln is also a published author and self trained cook. Jesslyn runs the Instagram page OrlandoFoodieGirl which has almost 30,000 followers and features the best restaurants/unique eats of Central Florida! She also has many followers on Tiktok, Facebook and Pinterest. She has written articles for several local magazines representing the Central Florida food scene as well as worked with McDonald's to bring awareness to their Ronald McDonald house charities. Jesslyn has also served as a Judge in a previous Taco Competition event!
